Here’s a 2010 V240 Great Wall double cab ute that we received this week for parts.

It’s been flood damaged and was not suitable for repair so we purchased it for parts, the engine will be stripped for parts and so will the gearbox so if you need any Great Wall mechanical or transmission parts we will have them available right off the shelf!

We just received another accident damaged V200 Great Wall ute from an insurance company..

This one has a had a very hard frontal accident although it’s only done 15,000km we won’t be selling the engine as a complete unit we will be pulling it apart for parts only.

We currently have Ten V200 diesel vehicles in our yard for parts so there’s not much we can’t supply for them..

Here’s a single cab V240 Great wall ute that’s had a bit of a roll!

We don;t get too many single cab great wall utes coming through as most of them sold in New Zealand are the double cab versions….

This one’s got roll over damage but surprisingly the engine is in very good condition, when tested it started first time and since the utes only done 46877km’s it’s going to be an excellent option for someone that needs a 4G69 petrol engine.

Possible Problem With Great Wall Differentials

We’ve been selling a few rear differential heads for V200 and V240 Great Wall utes lately and wondered why.. customers and workshops are telling us the differential had little or no oil in it when removed.

We decided to take a look at some of the utes we have in our yard and around a third of them had very low oil levels in the differential but showed no signs of any oil leaks, maybe they were never filled properly before sale but we can’t be sure of that.

Anyway, we recommend that you check your Great Wall ute’s diff oil just in case it’s low.

How to check your diff oil:

• Make sure the vehicle is on level ground
• Remove the fill plug from the back of the differential housing (see photo of the plug), you might have to raise the back of the ute a little with a jack to easily get to the plug.
• Once removed a small amount of oil should leak out, if no oil comes out top up the level with correct grade oil until oil does start to leak out
• Now screw the drain plug back in and tighten.
• That’s it your good to go
